Just another one‏

Jebale!

Well, it was just another week. Nothing exciting. It was actually just probably one of the most ordinary weeks of all time. We did meet this lady who met the missionaries in like the 90s which was pretty cool. Weren't able to teach her though because it was just her.

Edward is still progressing nicely. But we figured out he wasn't married legally yet, so we are going to have to get them married first, which won't be as hard since we are close to a chapel that can do marriages now. I hope everything works out with them.

Well, that's about it, so let me share a little spiritual thought. As I have been reading the scriptures lately I have noticed something. I actually first noticed it in the Isaiah chapters in 2 Nephi. It is talking about how the Lord's anger is kindled against the people and how he is going to destroy them and what not, but at the end of quite a few verses it says the phrase, "but his hand is stretched out still." In this life we are going to sin and make mistakes, it is impossible not to, but no matter what we do or how bad we think we are, the Lord still has his hand stretched out to bring us into his warm embrace of forgiveness. Never think that you are past repentance. Never think that you are too far to turn back. The Lord will always be there for us when we fall, to help us back up, and it is only through him that we can get back up.

I love you all. Have a great week.

Love, Elder Hawk
